  • What is it?
    • Smudging is the process of removing stagnant and negative energy that has built up in your space. Energy can gather from stress, undesirable experiences, or any other negative energy that has occurred in your space. Unfortunately, people can also be the cause of these “negative” energies. People bring their energies and other’s with them. Your home should not be the last stop for the energy, it needs to be recycled back into the Universe. 
  • How do we do it? 
    • Typically, our home cleansings are completed with the burning of white sage, also known as a “smudge stick.” We will ask that there is a window open in each room for the energy to escape out of, the sage is lit and continues to smolder in a container. As the sage is smoldering, we will lightly waft the smoke throughout each room, paying close attention to the corners of the rooms. Once the smoke has dissipated, the windows may be shut.  
    • We chose to use white sage because of its other known benefits! Sage smoke has been known to clear the air of bacteria, pollen, pet dander, dust, mold spores, and other allergens. 
  • Is there an alternative to the smoke?
    • Absolutely! We have a carefully crafted smudge spray to use in place of burning sage. The spray has several essential oils that match the energy of burning sage. We would take the time to spray the rooms and the corners to bring movement to the energies that are lingering. 
  • Why should YOU get a home cleansing? 
    • We are living in a world that is filled with negativity and toxins; this is an excellent way to raise the vibration of your home to give you a healthier and happier place to live. While home cleansing is the main benefit here, smudging can also cleanse specific objects in a home if you feel there is bad gu-gu. Along with all of the benefits listed above, smudging can increase the energy you have since you are no longer being weighed down. When burning sage, it releases negative ions into the air, which helps normalize your serotonin levels, which is a mood booster. Lastly, you may see an improvement in your quality of sleep. Those negative ions are striking again. With their help your sleep patterns can improve giving you a quality nights sleep.
